Four Guinea Pigs and Two Rabbits!

Guinea Pigs - Ladies First

Bramble

[Picture of Angel] Bramble came from our postman's house. They also keep rabbits and guinea pigs. She is three and a half years old and really beautiful. When she first came she had a hard time from Tulip but they became good companions.

When the fridge door opens she's at the cage door chewing noisily on the bars and rattling the door. Sometimes Tulip joined her. She also likes chin tickling. Sometimes she will give my chin a licking when I snuggle her.

Rosie

[Picture of Fleur]Rosie is nearly two years old and very soft with extremely fine soft cream coloured fur.

Although she was the baby of the three girls and was bottom of the pecking order she stuck up for herself when she first came. Loud squeals can be heard from Bramble when Rosie tries to be bossy.

She likes to nibble lips which is quite painful. But she loves chin tickling and will hold her head pointing straight up while you do it.

And the Boars

Percy and Nick

[Picture of Flash] The twins! The only way to tell them apart is that Percy has a small nick out of his right ear. Nick is nick-less!

They are nearly two years old and absolutely lovely. They are buff coloured and are excellent company for each other but Percy is the boss.

The Rabbits

Clover

[Picture of Moony] Clover is a rescue rabbit - about five years old. She's a chinchilla. She has a very soft and gentle nature but has never got used to handling. She loves her strokes and her ears are so soft to the touch.

She loved Moonlight and they spend most of their time together. Now since his death she has accepted and become very close to Mark.

Mark

[Picture of Moony] Mark is now one year old. He has beautiful silky fur with a dark blue patch on his nose. He was bought from a bredder who really didn't want him. He is now very much at home in our house!

He won't let me pick him up without a great struggle. However, he loves to be stroked from nose to tail. He's very gentle and has never shown the least sign of wanting to bite. He loves Clover and who can blame him.
