Rosie is now four years old a good age for a guinea pig. She is still very soft with extremely fine soft cream coloured fur. Although she was
bossy when she was younger (see Previous Pets
Page) she is now bossed about by Ginger. She has an large ovarian
cyst but still seems quite happy.
She still likes chin tickling and will hold her head pointing straight
up while you do it.

Ginger |
I got Ginger as a companion for Rosie after Bramble died. She was supposed to be about the same age! She turned out to be much younger and pregnant! She gave birth to four beautiful babies but sadly two died at only a few days old. The other two went to a good home together. She's about two years old now and very bossy. She too loves her chin to be tickled. |
The Rabbits |
Clover |
Clover is a rescue rabbit - almost eight years old. She's a chinchilla. She has a very soft and gentle nature but has never got used to handling. She loves her strokes and her ears are so soft to the touch. She loved Moonlight and Mark and in their turns they spend most of their time together. Now since Mark's death she has accepted and become very close to Fluff. They don't spend as much time together though as he loves to go up stairs and snooze on the landing. She has been ill this year and is still underweight. Fluff doesn't help as he scoffs all the food and is now very overweight. |
Fluff |
Fluff is now five years old. He came to me a year ago as an unwanted and unloved pet. He is so sweet it's difficult to see how anyone could fail to adore him. He is now very much at home in my house! He won't let me pick him up without a struggle. However, he loves to be stroked from nose to tail. He's very gentle and has never shown the least sign of wanting to bite. He too loves Clover and who can blame him. |
More pictures of pigglies and a very special bun.
